This week is a follow up to the sneak peek I posted early this week. It's from my current untitled work in progress.

When he’d said he missed Vic it was true, they weren’t meaningless words. There was more to missing him than just having Vic in the house. It was his way of keeping Marc calm, the attention he paid to whether or not Marc ate or stared at the computer too long. The conversations they had when Marc needed to take break. They weren’t serious or even enlightening. In fact, they tended to lean toward ridiculous and mundane. But those were the small moments that he hadn’t realized were so important until they were gone.
